DUNK CITY!!!!

The second and final timberlakes wednesday night game occured at a packed jackson middle school.
The game started off slow until the third quarter when calvin keller rebounded a ball and looked down court to see a wide open J-Knob down the court. Calvin was quoted saying "this was the beginning of something special, he hucked the ball to Knauber who caught the ball took a few steps then leaped several yards into the air and slammed the ball in a way that would have made Dwight Howard proud.
Following this the youngest and most promising lake (Nick "ROB" Schnieder) followed up with a sick dunk too.
The energy was flowing and the crowd was roaring, so Calvin decided it was his turn for glory, he took the ball down court went up to Dunk and missed the rim by a good 2 feet.
Another fight almost broke out when Mr. Smith almost smashed a small man to parts but luckily for the tiny man Mr. Smith decided to have mercy.

Timberlakes close to being defeated

On sunday the timberlakes were almost taken down by the last place bulls.
It was a tight game, tensions were high, the bulls were hitting all their shots and getting boards left and right. Thankfully for the lakes Gabe Ortiz was on the ball and pulled out a victory for us. Game ball goes to Shane for draining 2 threes in the first half that kept us afloat.

105!!

The Timberlakes were literally on fire today in which they scored 105 points!!!
not only was this an amazing feat but the T-lakes did so with only 5 players so they had no subs. We were missing Brad due to loving the game of basketball so much he had to sit a game, Damon because of a double techincal foul out in the saturday game, and Evan and Neil due to family events.
T-Lakes stars Justin Knauber, Gabe Ortiz, and Shane Smith had crazy good games with 56 points, between 13-20ish assists, and 22 rebounds.
Also Kudos to Nick for hustling the entire game winding up with 14 points and 12 boards himself.
The timberlakes played with out class in respect to the other coach

Game ball goes to J-Knob for an amazing 56 points

Shane Smith-22 Rebounds
Gabe Ortiz-Between 13-20 assists

Timberlakes final score-105

Granger Hurricanes sweep through Timberlakes

Timberlkaes lose their first game of the season in a hard fought 20 point loss, with a bunch of questionable officiating. The game was officiated terribly, at least half of the game was spent watching the hurricanes shoot free-throws. After Damon Hudson was ejected from the game the fun started. The herbavores were standing behind the t-lakes bench and decided to start talking trash, this was a bad bad decision. A la cueva douche-muffin thought it would be a good idea to call derrick silva a pussy so derrick polietly said "lets go outside so i can kick your ass" derrick procedes to walk outside when he was blind sided by a furry of tiny weak punches. Derrick and Michael Gurule then began demoloshing the la cueva kids. one thing lead to another and the la cueva kids got messed up, we won't say who did what but you can ask any timberlake for the full story
Game Ball goes to Gabe for staying cool like the other side of the pillow while under pressure

Timberlakes Hose off the Firemen 56-44

The Timberlakes came roaring out of the gates with two points in the first five minutes of a rare wednesday night affair. The Firemen took a decent lead into the second quarter, but after that the lakes took over. Justin Knauber after a cold beginning to the game started draining threes. Gabe Ortiz hit some key points even after a recently supposed severe injury, Neil Altomare continued his streak of niceness to opposing teams that streak now stands at 2 games lifetime. Nick Schnedar set a team record for airballs with 5, all happened to be in the same quarter. The firemen were a bunch of pole riding dirty players, when during the third quarter one hairy chested firemen was called for a foul he was then given three subsequent T's. Justin Knauber claimed the after shooting all 6 free throws " My arm hurts a bit." A giant suprise to the Lakes and all of Lake Nation was when resident three point superstar Justin Knauber air balled a free throw. Justin's excuse " My nuts were sticking to my leg". The game ball for this game goes to coach Jeff Hudson for being the number one coach in the league for coaching prowess, basketball knowledge, and general apathy for all other teams in the league. The Timberlakes would all apprecaite it if the fans could make it to Monroe Middle school for the Battle for First between the Timberlakes and the Granger Hurricanes. The game is at one fifteen on February 7th at Monroe Middle School. Watch the Timberlakes, it's infectious.

Goobers gobble timber-nuts

The Timberlakes started slow and played pretty bad while feeling the oppression of the refs but managed to come away with another win taking them to 6-0. A scary moment happened in the 1st quarter when star guard Gabe Ortiz fell down with an ankle injury but doctors later determined he was all right. After the game Lady lakes Breezy, Whitney, and Cameron said this of Pluto no longer being a planet "It's bull shit, boool shit, it's not cool" respectively. Game ball goes to Neil for setting a new Timberlakes record of saying "Good Job" to the other team in the DOUBLE DIGITS!!!

Timberlakes Taken Over!

The timberlakes really took over the herbavores today at madison. The lakes went crazy in the third quarter and made herbavore star andy so mad he tried to punch J-Knob but his blow was turned back by J-Knob's forcefield. chris "hair dresser" frame was 0-25 from the field and his plan of taking over the lakes failed miserably. The game ball goes to Calvin "rainman" Keller for an excellent display of shin-an-a-gree. Regarding the embarassing play of the other team Timberlakes captain Damon was quoted saying "It's an absolute travesty to the sport, i speak for the entire team when i say, why can't everyone just have fun"

TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!

The T-Lakes played a great game with their heated rivals and overcame an 11 point half time deficit to beat the D-Hawks 81-76. Many fans for both sides filled in to a crowded cibola gym to witness the best 2 teams duke it out for bragging rights. When interviewed after the game, lady lakes girl Emily Anderson had this to say " on a scale of douce to super douce the other team and their fans were definantly mega douchers"
4 Timberlakes fouled out starting with Neil's immediate double technical
Game ball goes to Gabe Ortiz for his stellar Defense and always staying positive in the face of adversity. He was once again the T-Lakes shining star

T-Lakes make it 3 straight, but have a big game to stay focused for

The Timberlakes were forced to play without their shining star gabe ortiz, but they managed. The lakes were a bit rusty coming of the 3 week hiatus but still came away with a 81-22 victory over the bulls. When interviewed after the game T-Lakes PF Brad Elliot had this to say "come over here and look stupid....for i can slap you" The Justin Timberlakes have maybe their biggest game of the year when they play their arch rivals the D-Hawks. Game ball goes to Justin for displaying a mastery at the point guard position

P.S. the Timberlakes saw the D-Hawks(who were there scouting)leaving the arena today shortly after tip of and they did in fact look quite scared

Game Summary T-Lakes own the "body" heat

The Timberlakes absolutely tore apart the heat. Starting off the game 21-0 the first half ended 49-8. This was definantly the best defense half the lakes have ever played. The T-lakes made willie north from the heat look like a B**** with their stellar D. Nick "superman" Schendar gets the game ball for playing great and having literally a ton rebounds.
Side notes-Gabe had his second game in a row with a triple double and is looking to continue this streak the entire season....good luck Gabe, we know you can do it
